Welcoming hosts, amazing breakfast. Wi-fi was spotty and inconsistent during our stay.

tafarn y waen, guesthouse is a gem! after a long day, elaine and pete welcomed us with homemade soup and lovely wine. our deluxe double room was super comfy, and the private garden was a nice touch. breakfast was outstanding, easily the best full english i've had in ages. they even heated the garden for us!

It was just a great fit for a brief weekend stay in St Asaph with outstanding value for money. The hot tub was a fantastic way to unwind after a long day. Don’t forget to check the taxi rates if you’re planning to explore the area on foot.

The hosts, Elaine and Peter, made our stay memorable with their warm hospitality. Having a private entrance was perfect for our convenience.

The breakfast was a proper feast, bursting with local flavors and cooked to perfection—a real treat! The hot tub was an absolute highlight for unwinding after a long day. Plus, Pete and Elaine are utter gems, making you feel right at home.

Finding the ideal water temperature in that super hot tub took a bit of finagling, and the clawfoot tub did lead to some splash-zone moments while showering, but honestly, it was all part of the quirky charm.

We had such a pleasant stay! The room was beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. Elaine and Pete were the highlight, serving up an amazing breakfast that was both hearty and delicious. The added touch of a cozy private garden made our evenings relaxing.
